Great Shirt

I purchased my two-pack and received it in just a few days. I tried one on for fit, which was great, and then tossed them in the laundry before wearing. I have worn them for two days in a row and love them. They fit close, feel great, and stay in place. These shirts do exactly what ribbedtee says they will do. I am very pleased!

Best undershirt I've found

Perfect fit, close to the body. The ribbed design keeps it from getting too hot, also. The gray is ideal, since it doesn't show through white dress shirts. Wish they were in stock more often. Keeps it shape well after repeated washes and stays tucked in. Best undershirt I've found, by far.

I specifically chose these [heather grey] shirts as they were indicated 100% cotton. I don't like to wear artificial fabrics like polyester. However when I received my 2-pack of these t-shirts, I read on them that they are 90% cotton, 10% polyester. I was unpleasantly surprised. This info should be indicated properly, so I could consider before buying. Otherwise I'm pleased.

8/22/11 - Hello Alexander, Thank you for your order, your feedback, and for bringing this to our attention! While our white and black Classic fit undershirts are made of 100% cotton, our heather grey undershirts do have a 90/10 blend.
In reviewing our online shopping cart system information, we do see that our heather grey undershirt fabric content on the product page was incorrectly labeled as 100% cotton. We do apologize for that error and have corrected the heather grey fabric information to the proper blend of 90% cotton/10% polyester.

Hello! This is Alexander. I accept your apologies and would like to admit that I'm wearing now Ribbed Tees with pleasure. However I would refrain from making new orders until you bring the blend of this shirt to 100% cotton. Also I'd like to express my interest in buying a more dense Ribbed 1x1 V-neck heather grey Tee, 100% Combed Cotton, if you make one. Please consider my suggestion.

I just ordered 2 black and 6 white t-shirts. They are great. They are so comfortable and they never come out of your pants. Once tucked in, there they remain. Awesome!

Is a ribbed, seamless shirt possible?

These are great, but they could be improved by being made without side seams (tubular construction). However, I notice that all of my ribbed tank-tops also have side seams, so perhaps it isn't possible with this kind of fabric?

Donate all your other undershirts and buy Ribbed Tee

Once you try this shirt on you will not go back to Hanes. It fits close to the body just like an undershirt is supposed to. I'm a skinny guy, and this shirt accents the good parts of my upperbody instead of drowning me in fabric like all those other brands. Customer service is the best I've ever seen from a clothing company. Buy USA, buy Ribbed Tee.

I really like the fit and feel of the undershirts--have crew neck and v-neck in white and grey. The v-necks are little shallow, so can show on some shirts with an unbuttoned collar. I would love to see a deep scoop neck offered. I would also like to have a heather oatmeal color as an option, as it would be a closer match to my (pale) skin tones. Agree with another commentator, a tubular construction, if possible, would be awesome.
The seams felt a bit flimsy/sloppy, and, sure-enough, they have separated in a few of my armpits (long before the shirt is worn-out otherwise).

Based on your description, it appears as though you've received an earlier generation Classic Fit V-Neck, with a lower v-neck design. Also, our latest generation Classic Fit items (from 12/2012 on) have been updated and have a deeper v-neck allowing the undershirt to be hidden with open collared shirts.
Also, we are happy to replace defective items, such as those with stitching issues, free of charge with confirmation of defect. Please drop us a line and we'll be happy to assist you further.

You certainly do offer a good product. I am over 6'4" and your undershirts stay in place, do not twist and tangle and do not ride up! And they retain shape even after laundering.
